Dubai music fans are in for a treat. Grammy-winning artist Macy Gray will light up the Coca-Cola Arena stage on Friday, August 29 for an unforgettable evening of soul, funk, and R&B classics.
Part of the 28th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises, the one-night-only show promises to deliver powerful vocals, timeless hits, and the unmistakable charisma that has made Macy Gray a global music icon.
Rising to fame with her triple-platinum debut album On How Life Is in 1999, Gray’s distinctive raspy tone and genre-blending style produced unforgettable tracks such as I Try, Still, and Why Didn’t You Call Me. Her breakout single I Try earned her five Grammy nominations and a win for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, securing her place in music history.
Known for her magnetic stage presence and eclectic flair, Gray’s live performances fuse soul, funk, jazz, and rock into a groove that’s impossible to resist. She’ll be joined on stage by The California Jet Club, her long-time band, whose high-energy musicianship adds a fresh twist to her beloved hits. The tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of her debut album, making the Dubai show part of a milestone year.
