Yasmine Mustafa

Podcaster, News Producer, MC & Presenter

Yasmine Mustafa is a seasoned presenter and video producer at Khaleej Times, a prestigious English news outlet in the heart of Dubai, and host of The Pulp Podcast. Yasmine’s track record includes captivating interviews with renowned figures such as Gary Vaynerchuk, Bassem Yousef and Deepak Chopra. She is also an Emcee and Panelist, handpicked to host exclusive event launches for tech giant Huawei and Samsung in Dubai.

With over seven years of experience in developing video content, working in major cities around the world like Sydney, Berlin, and Dubai, she is an energetic reporter and emcee, but first and foremost, a storyteller. She has just as much experience, and loves, being behind the camera, as much as being in front of the camera, and of course, the stage.

Yasmine first took to the industry as a film editor for the award-winning feature documentary The Council, assistant editor for the Toronto Film Festival winner Blessed Benefit, as well as winning a fellowship for her writing of the feature film Those Who Face Death.

Her robust experience took her to Australia where she became a producer at Visual Domain, one of Sydney’s largest production companies, and later worked as a field director at Roya Television in Jordan. During her employment she was also selected for various commercial acting gigs and camera-facing projects.

Yasmine script-wrote for the digital comic book series Saudi Girls Revolution and directed-produced Hide Your Metal, an award-winning short documentary on heavy metal in Jordan, winning a Special Mention and Audience Award at the Franco-Arab Film Festival, as well as being nominated in LA & San Francisco, Minnesota, and Rotterdam.

Aside from her accolades she’s also worked as radio presenter for Bliss 104.3 in Amman, Jordan, presenting the news and a weekly audience favourite, Cover Lover.

She hails from Kuwait and Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Berlin and now Dubai making her a true third culture personality who can thrive in any room she is thrown into.
