The Vengaboys enjoyed commercial success in the late 1990s with huge hits such as We’re Going to Ibiza, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, and We Like to Party the group regularly topped the charts and sold an estimated twenty-five million records worldwide. Often named the most successful Dutch pop group in history the Eurodance group also won best-selling dance group of the year at the 2001 World Music Awards.
The pop band acquired a huge global following and their music became popular dance floor fillers. They saw huge success due to their talent and sheer energy combined with an unbeatable stage presence, they earned two number 1’s, seven Top 10’s and nine Top 40’s. In addition, they spent two weeks at number one and have spent a staggering 99 weeks in the Top 75.

In 1999 the group’s success was only growing as they stormed to first place in the Billboard Dance Charts and released their debut album Greatest Hits which reached gold status. This saw the group nominated for MTV Best Breakthrough of the Year.
The group never released a single that didn’t reach the Top 40. Which is a huge achievement and they also embarked on multiple worldwide tours.
