Simon Greenman is an accomplished executive, investor, and non-executive director with over 25 years of global experience in artificial intelligence and digital innovation. He co-founded MapQuest, the first internet mapping service and one of the first online AI-powered brands. He is the Co-Founder, Head of AI and CTO of Best Practice AI. Simon is now available to speak at an array of events where he enlightens his audience on AI and digital innovation topics like the future of AI, ethics and the governance of AI, AI strategy and economics, AI in the workplace, and the deployment of AI.

Co-Chair (Emeritus) of the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of London Network, Simon received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BA Honours in Computing & Artificial Intelligence from the University of Sussex. As a former Global Innovator and Member of the Global AI Council at the World Economic Forum, he has contributed to driving the global agenda for the practical and safe adoption of AI.

Simon is involved in burgeoning start-ups and scale-ups that are set to do wonders for ethical and technological innovation worldwide through his work as an angel investor, Advisor at DN Capital – a European-American early-stage and growth venture capitalist, and formerly an AI Expert in Resident at pioneering VC Seedcamp.

Currently Non-Executive Director at Checkit, Simon has held several prestigious positions at organisations over the course of his career. Early on in his career, he was a Consultant at Accenture soon after which he co-founded Map Quest. He has also been COO at Asterand Bioscience, Interim Strategy and Product Management at AOL, Interim VP Marketing & Business Development at Merkle, SVP Internet at Dex Media, Managing Director at European Directories, CEO of ANGI Homeservices Europe, and Interim CEO of MutualArt Group. Additionally, he has been the Interim CMO and Chief Digital Officer at Bowers & Wilkins and a Board Advisor at Seldon. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society and a regular keynote speaker on AI. Simon Greenman’s resume is only a testament to his leadership.
