Shona Ekins

Shona Ekins can now be heard hosting the Midday Show on Channel 4 from 11am to 2pm. Her love for radio led her to make the bold move to Dubai in 2022, and she’s been making a name for herself ever since.

In 2024, Shona hosted the Morning Show on Dubai’s dance music station Pure Ibiza 94.7, broadcasting weekdays from 6am to 10am. Her vibrant personality and passion for music quickly made her a standout voice on the airwaves.

In Dubai, Shona has also excelled in hosting both fun media events and corporate gatherings. In just under a year, she secured MC roles at some of the city’s top venues, including Caesars Palace, Address Sky View, and Atmosphere Burj Khalifa. She’s also featured in several shoots for Dubai Economy and Tourism, becoming a regular face on the Visit Dubai YouTube channel.

Shona has interviewed a wide range of notable figures including UK rapper Wiley, news presenter Suzanne Kianpour, TV presenter Layne Redman, and various other public personalities across the UAE. She is also a freelance voice artist, lending her voice to brands such as Skechers, Travelwings, Tesco (UK), and Rugby 7s.

Her confidence on and off the mic stems from a strong background in acting, including performances in London’s West End. Comfortable in front of any audience, Shona continues to stand out as a dynamic entertainer.

She’s quickly becoming a leading voice in Dubai’s radio and media scene and her journey is only just beginning.
