Nicola made history in 2012 as the first woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing. She repeated her triumph at the 2016 Rio Olympics, cementing her place in history. Known for her skillful technique and charismatic presence in the ring, Nicola’s groundbreaking achievements helped elevate women’s boxing to new heights. Her remarkable journey was immortalized in the Amazon Prime documentary Lioness: The Nicola Adams Story (2021).

Since retiring from boxing in 2019 with an undefeated professional record, Nicola has pursued acting. She recently graduated from the prestigious Identity School of Acting (IDSA) in London, joining an impressive list of alumni such as John Boyega, Malachi Kirby, and Letitia Wright. Her foray into Hollywood marks a significant step in her career transition, and she is currently starring in the upcoming film The Gun on Second Street.
