Hailing from the steel city of Sheffield and deeply influenced by his Italian heritage, Massimo Martella has always embraced a spirit of rebellion, willingly stepping away from security to explore uncharted creative territories. His journey began as a singer-songwriter, a path that honed his understanding of vocal timbre and character, ultimately leading him to the world of voiceover artistry. This natural progression then ignited a deeper passion, propelling him into screen acting and theatre—an ongoing learning process that continuously fuels his spiritual and mental growth, particularly in acting and scriptwriting.

Massimo’s diverse body of work includes commercials, voiceovers, and short films for esteemed clients such as Lion’s TV, Paramount, PBS, ITN, Microsoft, Jewson, and Sega Corporation. Alongside his work in performance and production, he remains an accomplished singer-songwriter, releasing music professionally through his independent label, King Harold Records. After spending 18 formative years in London, he has returned to Sheffield, where he is currently focused on developing his original script for a musical animation series, Large Goose, which is under consideration by the BBC and various TV production companies.
