Martina Fuchs

Martina Fuchs is an international TV anchor, business journalist, event moderator, expert on China and the Middle East, and speaks 9 languages.

She currently works as a Europe Business Correspondent for China’s state news agency Xinhua, International Consultant for the Lang Lang International Music Foundation of the Chinese star pianist, International Advisor for the the largest cross-generational student initiative St. Gallen Symposium, and as a China Communications Consultant for the world-renowned IMD business school.

Based in London and Zurich, Martina also serves as international media ambassador and board member for the Montreux Jazz Festival China and is the brand ambassador for Switzerland’s premium chocolate retailer Läderach.

Apart from being a global citizen and world traveler, she is also a music DJ and playing old school hip hop, soul and R&B, as well as Afrobeat and world music.

Previously, she was a CNNMoney Switzerland TV anchor and CGTN senior business reporter in Beijing, and worked as a Reuters economy correspondent for the Gulf Arab region in Dubai and Reuters Financial TV producer in London.

She holds a Master in International Economic History from the University in Geneva, Switzerland, a Postgraduate Diploma in TV Journalism from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and a Master of Science in Global Finance (MSGF) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the New York University (NYU) Stern Business School.

Martina speaks 9 languages, including: German, French, English, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Swahili.
