Punam Verma is a seasoned Media Professional. She is a News Journalist, Filmmaker, Emcee and Presenter whose career spans radio, television, film, and music.

She began her journey in broadcasting as a Radio Breakfast Show Host for BBC WM in her hometown of Birmingham, UK, before moving into journalism as a BBC News Journalist. Her on-screen career took off when she was invited by Dubai One TV to host and write their first English-language lifestyle show, Out & About, which became the channel’s longest-running English program. The show saw Punam interviewing global icons including Kim Kardashian, Lewis Hamilton, and Shahrukh Khan, while travelling the world to destinations such as the Maldives, Hong Kong, and the Seychelles, as well as showcasing inspiring local stories across the UAE.

Beyond television, Punam is the creator and host of Soul Traveller, an online wellness and travel series that explores conscious living and meaningful journeys. She also works as a freelance producer and host on Dubai Eye Radio 103.8FM, where she continues to bring insightful conversations to audiences across the region.

A true creative at heart, Punam has pursued her passion for music since the age of 13 as a singer-songwriter, performing live for audiences of up to 70,000 people on New Year’s Eve in the UK.

As a filmmaker, Punam’s debut film premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2012 as a finalist under the Muhr Awards category. Her second documentary, set for release in 2026 explores the topic of menopause, but with a unique and thought-provoking twist.

An accomplished international MC, Punam has hosted prestigious events around the globe, including for the President of the Maldives and members of the Dubai Royal Family.
